My old-school MTB of 15 years finally gave up. Now I have the glorious Pinnacle Neon Three Hybrid. It was tough moving on from the bike I knew and loved but I felt a great bond with the Neon Three from the first time I tested it.
It’s a pleasure to ride – that was the first thing that struck me. The geometry gives a really nice riding posture. I would prefer a little bit lower handlebars to get in a more racing position. However, the riding position is not too upright like some other brands of hybrid I tried out.
The disk brakes are nice and responsive, so perfect for bombing around London with the traffic. It’s a really fast bike too. The fact it’s so light gives a nice kick when accelerating. It looks really cool with the matt-finish frame and quite subtle at the same time.
Essentially, I love riding it and feel very confident whilst doing so. Really good value for money with this bike. I highly recommend to all commuters.
